Ronda Rogers, a mixed media artist hailing from Haymarket, VA, intricately weaves together various materials and techniques to craft works of Realism. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of ordinary moments, Ronda's artistry shines through in her detailed and lifelike creations. Through a meticulous process that involves layering different media, she brings her subjects to life with vibrant colors and rich textures that captivate the viewer. Ronda's passion for Realism is evident in each piece she creates, as she skillfully captures the essence of her subjects with a keen eye for detail. Bryce Hansen is a former Green Berets Commander, graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, a dedicated servant who defended America’s values and integrity throughout the world, and artist.

My work brings forth the Black woman’s voice through my framework of Black Artistic Thought. Black Artistic Thought is the creative process behind works of art originating from the lived experiences of Black women artists and thinkers, as we demonstrate our ability to express the spiritual in multidisciplinary forms. While Black women artists lay the foundation for my framework, Black Artistic Thought is inclusive and aims to engage a broader audience in conversations about the spiritual.

I was born in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in the Southern tier of New York state where I found my love of the outdoors. That love continued to nurture as I grew through boy scouts. My love of nature found visual expression in my early drawing. I joined the Navy upon graduating from high school and went into the nuclear power program ultimately being stationed on the USS Enterprise and in the Viet Nam conflict. Having survived that and getting married I went on to college in liberal arts. Following that I was in Philadelphia getting an MFA in sculpture With all those degrees, I was able to teach college lever and continued to follow my passion in art. I was never very interested in making art to sell but sought the joy in the journey of creating art. It is wonderful when someone is interested enough to purchase my work and it allows me to buy more art supplies. I retired from fulltime teaching giving me time for drawing a series a landscapes and creating figurative and imaginative sculpture in epoxy clay and large sculpture with DIY papier mâché clay.

Michelle was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and now resides in central California. She describes her art style as abstract mixed media, and is inspired by the human condition, film, music, and different cultures. She enjoys painting, drawing, sculpting, and nature photography. She is currently is working on completing her bachelors degree in studio art with a minor in art therapy. Her goal is to work in the Mental Health field as an art therapist. Michelle is a disabled veteran and hopes to help as many people as she can with her art by raising awareness.

I am an artist currently living in Southern Arizona trying to live a creative life. I focus on landscape painting but work in a wide variety of media. I travel and experience impressive landscapes as often as I can. I am a father, husband, US Army Vet, and MFA graduate. I currently show at Gallery 32 in Bisbee Arizona and Warrior Healing Center in Sierra Vista Arizona. Geneva Reed is a Chicago landscape and cityscape photographer. Geneva is a self-taught photographer who began capturing images as a teenager. She captured images in her neighborhood, during summer vacations, at school, and while serving in the Illinois Army National Guard. Geneva loves capturing picturesque moments. In August 2021, Geneva Reed Photographic Art was formed, and later, Geneva began exhibiting her photography in local galleries in the south suburbs of Chicago and beyond.

My passion has always been to produce and advance my artistic craft, notwithstanding life’s triumphs and failures. I consider myself to be self-taught through a variety of mediums using acrylic and oil paint, to create layered textures that express the use of color. My style is imaginative and abstract often stimulating a sense of surprise and wonderment. I will always remain humble and continue to develop my craft and focus on lifelong learning. My hope is for my art is to elicit thought, generate emotion, and build long-lasting relationships that keeps the viewer asking for more.

As a young boy I often played outdoors and made things out of dirt and sticks. I struggled sitting behind a desk at school. I knew very early that to survive spiritually I had to keep creating with my hands. My love for pottery stems from my deep connection with the earth and the satisfaction of using my hands to create shapes from clay. While I experience joy and satisfaction in a finished product, I value the process even more. For me, the process of making an object is both calming and exhilarating at the same time. Each phase, from centering a ball of clay onto the wheel, maneuvering it into a specific shape, trimming and placing my carvings onto that shape and then glazing it is an adventurous challenge from which I derive great pleasure.

Im a Army veteran, im not great at writing things about myself. That being said i do enjoy using art to share thoughts said by many or just I. Im located in upstate NY, this is home to me. I enjoy my peace, nature and long walks in the woods to collect rocks and weird looking chunks of wood to turn into something unique, and one of a kind.

I was active duty from 2004 until medically retired in 2010 and deployed to Iraq in support of OIF three times. My family, (consisting of my husband, 25 year old daughter, and 10 year old son) moved to Alama in 2016 and have enjoyed some great adventures. I have been an artist most my life, although I did put the paintbrushes aside as a young adult in favor of figuring out what I really wanted to be. I rediscovered my love of art later, and have been exploring that love ever since.

Self Taught Artist......Oil Paintings

I served active duty 1992-1996, stationed at NAS Lemoore, CA. I worked as a plane captain and a Fx18 air framer with VFA-146 (The Blue Diamonds), deploying on cruises to the Persian Gulf aboard USS Nimitz.

In August of 2015 after spending 23 years in Denver, CO Robert Maestas and his wife Patricia relocated back to their home state of New Mexico. Mr. Maestas was raised in Espanola, NM and Mrs. Maestas is from Mesilla, NM. Mr. Maestas is a veteran of the US Armed Forces and served aboard the aircraft carrier USS America for three years in the early seventies. Mr. Maestas is a self- taught Digital / AI Artist / Photographer and has been creating art in one form or another since he was a child. Mr. Maestas was a member of the Chicano Humanities & Arts Council (CHAC) Gallery in Denver, CO for many years and is overjoyed to bring his style of art back to his home state of New Mexico. Mr. Maestas states “my art is not traditional by any means. It is created from dreams, emotions, mental imagery and life’s trials and tribulations that I have experienced during my short time on this earth.” Some of Mr. Maestas’ past accomplishments include being selected as the People’s Choice winner in a national art competition entitled “Art with a Story.” You can view and read the winning entry under his “BLOG” Section on his website. Mr. Maestas was also one of the 5,201 official entrants from around the world that submitted a concept to Lower Manhattan Develop Corporations (LMDC) World Trade Center Memorial Competition for the design and creation of the 09/11/01 Ground Zero Memorial in New York City. Mr. Maestas design was never given proper credit by (LMDC) for his submission "Centerpiece for the Memorial" yet it is displayed at the 09/11 Memorial Museum in New York City. In the conventional form, creativity manifests itself through the paint and the brush while today, in this age of technological revolution, it also happens with the use of a tablet, mouse, artist’s software and other tools. Each era has seen the evolution of a new art form and now we are experiencing digital art. Creativity knows no bounds and there could not be a better way of expressing it than through digital art, the art of the millennium. The creative mind is the same, the means are just different. Mr. Maestas states “I am simply an artist that uses a blank screen instead of the more traditional blank canvas to create original art. Let us leave it at that and enjoy the art for what it is and not by whatever manner it was created with.”

I am happily married to my wife of 45 years. We have two daughters, two awesome Son-in-laws and five Grandchildren. I love to camp and travel as often as possible, yet still love my home in Aiken SC. I enjoy good food, cold beer and time with friends and family
