About the Artist:
My primary artwork consists of metal plated fish bones with a polished or patina finish. They are made from real fish skeletons (ethically sourced) that have been fully cleaned using dermestid beetles, reassembled by hand and coated with several layers of liquid metal (usually tin or copper). The finish can be a high polish, green patina or rust patina. They typically display in a shadow box. Several of my art pieces have ribboned at the Texas State Fair and have been showcased in multiple magazine articles. Rotating pieces can be found, for sale, at the AOP Art Gallery in Galveston, TX.
