About the Artist:
I am a self taught contemporary oil painter who makes paintings of seaside landscapes, florals, and some of my favorite potted plants. I primarily work in oil on canvas and wood panel using layered textures to capture the transient beauty of the coastal environment, and the delicate intricacies of florals and potted plants. I also enjoy drawing and painting in my sketchbooks. My drawings and paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States. I paint from my tiny home studio in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.
