About the Artist:

My work is grounded in sustained engagement with lines as a stabilizing and organizing force. Drawing began at an early age through repetition and continued through decades of independent study, developing into a disciplined visual language shaped by endurance, return, and accumulation. This practice evolved into what I call my NeuroLines process, a self-developed system of layered mark-making grounded in continuity and sustained attention.

I was raised within the Mount Hood wilderness of Oregon, where solitude and duration shaped an early relationship with inward focus. Time spent in isolation and forested landscape encouraged a close attention that later guided my approach to image making. After I joined the U.S. Army in the late 1990s, structure and procedural clarity reinforced this working method and expanded my understanding of the physical world.

I work across multidisciplinary media, allowing each piece to unfold according to its own duration through repeated layering, revision, and return. Surfaces retain evidence of decision, persistence, and time spent.

I maintain my private studio, The Den, at Liggett Studio in the East Village Arts District of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. As an inaugural Oklahoma Visionary, I support and promote unconventional artists whose practices resist easy categorization while sustaining rigor, longevity, and growth.
