About the Artist: I began like most with drawing and decided that I needed to try something new. One way of expression is making miniature scenes out of polymer clay attempting to bring a story to the piece. From here, I branched out to challenge myself, as well as the viewer, in interpretation of a narrative. As a multimedia artist, I bring together nature and connections with emotions into my work. I believe that a viewer will remember how they felt about a piece before they remember what it looked like. This thought process guides me to strike strong emotions from the viewer. I experiment in any medium that I feel will get a proper final product for the subject at hand. I feel that staying with one medium is very limiting and I branch out to seek new ways of creating.
