About the Artist: I am a Navy veteran who discovered the healing power of creating art. I served from 1987 to 2005 as an F/A/18 pilot. I was deployed twice, once during Operation Desert Storm and the second time to the Med. on the USS Saratoga. I left active service in 1996 but served in the Naval Reserves until 2005. Being creative has healed me in ways I could only imagine a few years ago. I begin creating jewelry by helping my wife who is a glass bead artist. I found the process calming and it left me with a great sense of accomplishment. I work in sterling silver, brass and copper and love how these metals complement the stones that are included in many of my pieces.
