After serving in the Army, I found leatherwork and blacksmithing to be incredibly therapeutic. Now, after spending a year homeless fighting a divorce and 2 years rebuilding in Texas I am rebuilding my blacksmith shop in order to mentor other veterans and public servants. They would come to me 1 on 1 or small groups and we would forge a knife completely free to them. The goal would be to show them how therapeutic any form of blacksmithing can be.
