I want to create art that allows the viewer to understand what Truth can look and feel like.

Retirement and learning new things.
     It all started with coloring with colored pencils. Then I began painting rocks and small canvases. I discovered pebble art, paint pours, larger canvases and many more paint brushes. I also learned that my time would be better spent watching TV.
On a whim I purchased a rotary tool and after using it on everything in sight....... I picked up a little rock!  I didn't see another painted rock, I saw a motorcycle gas tank.
     My "Rock Art" consists of river rocks, aluminum craft wire and sometimes leather. The rocks are cut, carved, drilled,  ground into shape, then painted and glued to a background picture that I  took or created with A.I.  The motorcycles are approximately  9 in long. Each project takes about 2 weeks ot more to complete.
     In October 2025, the "Two Indians" won the 'Best of Show' at the Art of Veterans exhibit in Rancho Cordova, Ca. That was a complete surprise of which I am sincerely grateful.

He retired as an Army Captain after serving over 20 years enlisted and as a “Mustang” officer. Earl served in Operation Desert Storm where he earned the Bronze Star Medal.

Earl has worked in Homeland Security and Emergency Management since 2014.

He resides in Pasadena, Texas with his wife, Amy and three sons. Amy is also an artists has inspiring him to pursue his artistic endeavors. They share a creative space in their home.

Hello I’m a self taught realism artist from Ohio. I learned of my talent at a young age and had the normal art classes growing up. I decided after graduating I wanted to become a Marine so I went to bootcamp in 1997. I have been honing my skills through practice and love to use colored, pastel or graphite pencils to do my art. I also do personal commissions for clients. I am excited to have found this site for artists like me. I hope you enjoy my work, thank you for looking.

I served in the Army as a chaplain for 13 years. After being medically retired, I pursued my dream of becoming a photographer and writer.
